This exhibit opens Jan. 12, 2019 at the Cincinnati Art Museum:
Visitors who are blind or partially sighted and their families are invited to tour the museum through touch. Specially trained docents provide verbal descriptions and guide participants through the process of seeing art with their fingertips.
Each month features a different theme and focuses on 3 – 5 objects from the museum’s permanent collection. Visitors will meet the docent in the front lobby and be guided on a tour through the galleries. This month, we will explore art made by American Indians, as well as depictions of American Indian cultures.
