Join us for an evening to celebrate the great women artists in the CAM collection. Assistant Director of School Based Learning, Samantha Gaier, will share insights from her research trip to New Mexico visiting the home and studio of Georgia O'Keeffe. Afterwards enjoy a docent-guided tour exploring the museum’s collection through the lens of female artists such as Elizabeth Nourse, to Maria Martinez, Mary Louise McLaughlin and of course O’Keeffe. Take that inspiration back to the classroom to use as a basis for new lesson plans.
